CHRISTMAS came to Manningtree and Flatford Mill at the weekend.
Festive highlights for this year’s East Bergholt Victorian Christmas event included Valley Farm being decorated in keeping with the era.
Visitors were also able to help make traditional decorations.
Simon Peachey, senior visitor experience officer, said: “The National Trust’s first Christmas at Flatford weekend was as popular as ever.”
The RSPB also joined in the event and celebrated a natural Christmas in their wildlife garden.
In Manningtree stallholders hosted a Christmas themed market on Friday.
Flatford’s Christmas event returns on Saturday and Sunday between 10.30am and 3.30pm.
