THOUGHTFUL children helped collect and donate shoe boxes filled with Christmas gifts.
The boxes were collected by volunteers from the Samaritans Christmas Child and they are being taken to the sorting station at Halstead ambulance station.
Jenny Alderson, teaching assistant, said: “We are happy to say that we collected an amazing 140 boxes this year at the school, likely to go to Eastern Europe.”
Some pupils donated gifts as well as helping with the collection process.
