DANCERS in fancy dress jingled all the way to first place in an open competition.
Boogie Shoes Dance Academy had 160 dancers wiggle their way to the finals of the Pendrill Dance Open Freestyle competition in Sudbury.
Of those, 86 of the school’s dancers scooped first places. And for the third year in a row, the Boogie Shoes Christmas team also won.
Katie Gooch, dance teacher, said: “Boogie Shoes from Harwich, Lawford and Ramsey had dancers from 15 months old to 60 years old enter in the competition.
“They were competing in disco freestyle, street dance and rock n roll.
“The 15 month old came fifth and the adults were part of the Buddy Elf team which came first. For the third year running our, Christmas team has won.”
