Commuters faced disruption on the trains this morning after a signalling problem.

The issue at the Church Street level crossing in Kelevdon disrupted services in both direction between Colchester and Liverpool Street.

Some trains were cancelled and others were delayed by up to 30 minutes.

The problem was fixed by 9.30am, but some delays still remain.

Greater Anglia and Network Rail said they were "sorry if your journey has been affected by this disruption."

Details on changes to services can be found at http://www.journeycheck.com/greateranglia/.

Advance purchase tickets holders will be allowed to travel on earlier or later trains if their booked service is cancelled.

If your journey was delayed by 30 minutes or more, you may be entitled to compensation for a portion of your fare.
