Harwich's Winter Warmers pop-up shop has opened.
The week long event runs from 10am to 4pm every day at Dovercourt Fire Station.
Warm winter clothes, coats, shoes as well as household items and items for children are all up for grabs for those struggling with cash.
Organiser Les Nicoll said there are "thousands of coats, jumpers, trousers, shoes, socks, hats, scarves and bedding.
"And it's all free, that's right, if you need it if it fits take as much as you need for you and yours - completely free of charge."
The annual event sees residents donate items they no-longer need to help members of the community who might otherwise go without.
Entry is at the back of the Fire Station in Fronks Road, 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday, January 11.
