DOZENS of shop and take-away staff carried out a litter pick around their restaurant.
More than 24 staff members from McDonald’s in Dovercourt took part in the clean up on Tuesday with six staff from Morrisons - more than 40 bags of litter were collected.
Craig Newnes, franchisee who organised the event, said: “I’m so proud of all of my team and so pleased that having approached Morrisons they fully contributed by sending six people including their community manager.
“Litter is a real issue in all towns and I feel it’s everyone’s responsibility to help address the problem.”
