NEIGHBOURS in a Dovercourt street have a new spring in their step after winning £1,000 in the postcode lottery.
Seven households in Hewitt Road woke up on Tuesday to find out their postcode C012 5DY had been announced as a daily prize winner in the People’s Postcode Lottery.
Judie McCourt, People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador, congratulated the resident.
“What better way to brighten up a Tuesday than by winning the lottery and neighbours winning together is always a joy, so I’m thrilled for our players in Harwich today.”
A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised £393 million to date for good causes across Great Britain and internationally.
This draw was promoted by WaterAid, which has received more than £10 million in funding from players so far.
