SIX teenagers have been arrested in connection with criminal damage.

Police were called to reports of criminal damage to vehicles parked in Abbotts Road, Dovercourt, on Sunday, March 10.

An area search was conducted by special constables and six male teenagers were arrested.

After a search a man was found with an adapted mallet was found and he was further arrested for weapons offences.

An Essex Police Tendring Facebook post said: "Despite being tough enough to flex their muscles while kicking off wing mirrors their bravado disappeared when confronted by police."
