PLEDGES are continuing to roll in as the clock ticks down to Giving for Thurrock Day.
Giving for Thurrock Day encourages residents to give to a local cause, either with their time or money.
Organisers are asking everyone – from individuals and schools to local businesses – to give something back to the neighbourhood on Friday, March 29.
Along with the Superhero Tea Party being held at Thurrock CVS, West Street, Grays other organisations are reaching out and inviting people to take part in fundraising activities across the borough.
New pledges have come from the Thurrock Muslim Parents Association, which will be giving out notes of gratitude and small gifts to community workers including teachers, firefighters and bus drivers.
Thurrock CCG will be asking all its staff to donate to the Thurrock Foodbank as well as encouraging everyone to take part in the community celebration.
Lainey the Life Genie is offer a free Zumba class on March 25 and 27 for the Giving for Thurrock Day cause.
