The British people have spoken and Parliament have legislated.

Some 17.4 million people voted to leave the European Union and MPs voted overwhelmingly by 498 to 114 to deliver the referendum result, the only mandate given to the Prime Minister, though ignored.

Here is the crunch, the Prime Minister with the EU have concocted a deal referred to by “Prime Minister’s Deal”, whereby the UK would be forced to hand over £39 billion to the EU without securing anything in return.

Ms May for the UK has done something even more bizarre, by signing up to the EU’s backstop, a black hole in which the UK would plunge into if the EU and UK could not agree a trade deal, something that Jean-Claude Junker, the EU’s President Commissioner calls “an insurance policy, nothing more nothing less”.

He would say that wouldn’t he.

In so doing, it would prevent the UK from striking trade deals, forced to obey EU laws without having a say, until the EU allowed it to leave, if ever, a calculated trap.

The Prime Minister’s deal is not Brexit and never was intended to be, arrogantly saying that that is what the people want.

Going down that route simply means that the UK would forever be tied to the EU’s shackles.
