HUNDREDS of Easter eggs have been donated by a supermarket's staff and customers.
Morrison's staff and customers from the Parkeston store have donated 200 chocolate eggs for youngsters.
About 50 of the eggs were donated to Home Start Harwich, and 50 more were given to Talk About Special Kids, based in Dovercourt.
The rest were given to people in their parcels from Harwich Foodbank.
Lami Bearder, Harwich Foodbank's chairman, said: "Two eggs per child will see plenty of smiles all round.
"It takes a little stress away from parents already struggling, just to see their children happy for Easter."
She thanked Morrisons so its help with the foodbank.
