A murder investigation has been launched after a man has died at a house in Grays.

The man, in his 30s, was taken ill from an address in Parsonage Road at around 3.30am on Thursday, April 18 and, sadly, later died in hospital.

Police are now investigating the circumstances surrounding his death as they believe the man may have been assaulted in the days before his death.

Officers from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate have launched a murder investigation.

Officers need to speak to anyone who has any information about a disturbance in Parsonage Road between 11pm on Friday, April 12 and 2am on Saturday, April 13.
