DOMESTIC violence and anti-social behaviour continue to be the most investigated crimes in Tendring, it has been revealed.

Essex Police have released their latest statistics on the amount of crime investigated, attended and solved around the district during April.

Last month a total of 357 anti-social behaviour incidents and 354 domestic abuse incidents were investigated by officers - making the them the most reported crimes in the area for another month running.

In March, February and January domestic abuse incidents topped the call out list for police, followed by anti-social behaviour incidents.

But in April, there were more anti-social behavioural incidents investigated.

During last month, police were also called to 172 mental health incidents, 86 missing people's reports were investigated, 171 stop and searches were completed, and 39 road traffic collisions were attended.

A total of 555 intelligence reports were submitted and 154 crimes were solved in April.
