A GROUP of Albanians have been arrested on suspicion of entering the country illegally at Harwich International Port.
Six men were seen exiting an unaccompanied trailer at the port on Wednesday, May 29.
They are currently in custody and will be passed to immigration officers for interview.
Two further men were arrested on suspicion of facilitating illegal immigration and are currently in custody pending interview.
The incident was dealt with jointly by Border Force, Essex Police and the British Transport Police.
British Transport Police has been contacted for further comment.
