A FRUIT grower has passed strict new food safety standards to keep a top AA grade for the fourth year in a row.
DC Williamson and Barn Farm Drinks, based in Bradfield, has been awarded the highest rating possible in the new food safety standard audit, which came into force in February.
Run by husband and wife Craig and Gail Williamson, the company specialises in soft fruit, stem fruit and bush fruit farming, providing both fresh and frozen fruit to retailers. And 18 months ago they launched Barn Farm Drinks.
Craig, the firm’s managing director, said: “We’re delighted to have retained our AA grade rating for the BRC Global Standard of Food.”
