OVERNIGHT volunteers are needed to help with ten days of Captain Fryatt commemorations.
A handful of helpers are needed to assist with a host of events being held to mark the 100th anniversary of Captain Fryatt being repatriated between July 6 and July 14.
Deborah Lear, of the Mayflower Heritage Centre, said: “The events have proved to be much more popular than we anticipated and we are urgently in need of extra volunteers.
“We need volunteers over the ten days and more importantly we will need small teams to guard the Cavell Van overnight as it is of national importance and cannot be left unprotected.”
To volunteer or find out more call Deborah on 01255 879303 or email debbie.lear@harwichmayflower.com.
