CHILDREN explored an enchanted garden at a teddy bear picnic.
Laura Gates, founder of Wivenhoe Bumps and Babies, hosted the event at the Munchkin Nursery and Forest School pre-school.
The nursery has a secret garden which babies and children used to have lunch with their teddy bears.
Laura said: “We wanted to bring the community together and raise money for the children’s ward at Colchester Hospital.
“The nursery let us use their facilities for free and they helped us in a group session.
“They have a giant yurt, mud kitchen, water features and climbing frames, it’s absolutely stunning.”
The teddy bears had been donated and the children were able to take a bear home.
Laura dressed up in a bear suit to surprise the little ones.
The event raised £102 for the hospital’s children’s ward.
