I WAS a little concerned over the tone of the recent article about a driver possibly hitting a cat which ran out in front of her car.
It seemed to condemn the driver who may have been involved.
Did the driver actually see the cat as it was struck by the wheel?
Also, not everyone would be comfortable to deal with the trauma of a seriously injured animal.
New law, well that is going to work. I’m sure the police will welcome the job of investigating this type of incident, we can’t get a copper to come to a burglary so to a cat, good luck with that!
But I welcome the proposed new law aligning dogs with cats as if enacted I’m sure it will include making cat owners responsible for the their pets actions as dog owners are.
