NEW PRESIDENT: Retiring President Joan Rees (on the right) and next President Kath Russell at Afternoon Tea Party
AN INNER wheel club enjoyed the unveiling of a new president.
The social committee for the Harwich and Dovercourt Inner Wheel held an afternoon tea party in the garden of Malcolm and Dianne Ablett, to mark final day of president, Joan Rees.
During the afternoon, Dianne set a quiz where members had to look for little animals or other ornaments hidden amongst shrubs and flowers.
A spokesman said: “It was a lot of fun, seeing who could find the most. Many members helped with preparing the food etc, which was enjoyed by around 30 people. The weather was kind too which helped make it special for Joan.”
The new club president will be Kath Russell.
