A PARTNERSHIP is organising a visit to a historic German town to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
The Manningtree and District Frankenberg Partnership Association is holding a meeting about organising a trip to Frankenberg for its golden anniversary.
A spokesman said: “To have reached the golden anniversary of the partnership is something to be proud of, so in 2020 there will be an organised visit to Frankenberg to celebrate with our friends there and in 2021 we will welcome visitors from Frankenberg to celebrate here in the Manningtree area.
“We want to involve as many local people as possible in these celebrations.”
The meeting is taking place at Foundry Court, in Colchester Road, Manningtree, on Tuesday, September 10.
It is running between 7pm and 7.30pm.
