SEVERAL cars had their windscreens shattered during a night time smashing spree.
Some residents who live near Milton Road, Dovercourt, woke up this morning to find their car windscreens had been smashed overnight.
Sophie Norris, of Bay Road, said her husband's car was damaged in the wrecking spree.
The car was parked in Milton Road.
She said: "There were two cars in the road which has their windscreen smashed last night, but we didn't know until my husband went to go to work at 6am this morning.
"We assume it happened sometime over night, between 7pm and early this morning."
Her husband, Robert, owns a silver Peugeot and the other car which was damaged in the road was a silver Seat .
Mrs Norris said several other cars were also damaged in the same way near Orwell Terrace.
She added: "It's made me and my husband upset and it's not the first thing you expect to see when you wake up.
"It's put a lot of stress on us."
