RESIDENTS are being invited to a singing and dancing event to mark One World Week 2019.
The One World in Harwich planning group is organising an all-day event to encourage the community to take action to build a more equal and peaceful planet which safeguards environmental resources for future generations on Saturday, November 2.
The event is taking place at the Park Pavilion, in Harwich, from 10am until 5pm.
The theme this year is ‘Climate Changes Everything - Now Is The Time To Act’.
There will be a variety of displays around the hall and an arena in which various activities will take place.
A spokesman for the group said: “We will have refreshments available all day and will be serving international food for lunch which will represent the five continents - Africa, America, Asia, Europe and Australia.”
