A MUM is hoping to start a support group for dads who have difficulty seeing their children.
Amy Reynolds, of Oakley Road, Dovercourt, wants to set up Dads United for Children, to give estranged dads the chance to share their experiences.
The group is having its first meeting this Friday- October 18 at Wetherspoons, in Kingsway, Dovercourt, at 7.30pm.
Amy decided to start the group someone she knows suffered with his mental health following a relationship breakdown.
She said the group would meet once a month, to give support and to remind fathers they are not alone.
Tony Francis, who runs the Piecing Community Together Hub, in Dovercourt, said:“The group is for men who want to do the best for their children.”
