A CHARITY bake sale is returning to Witham next month for its ninth year.

The annual Children in Need Bake Sale offers a huge selection of homemade cakes and treats at Crouch Drive, Witham.

The family-friendly bake sale has raised more than £3,000 for Children in Need since it first started in 2011.

The UK-based charity aims to help disadvantaged children and young people.

Homemade cakes, biscuits, cookies, brownies and shortbread will be on offer, as well gluten, dairy and milk-free products.

All proceeds from the sale, on Saturday, November 2, will go to Children in Need.

Organisers Gemma Davies, Samantha Reeve and Katherine and Daniel Savill-Green will be keeping the stall open until the all the goodies are gone.

Cake-lovers are advised to come early as the tastiest cakes are likely to sell out fast.
