A LIFEBOAT crew’s festive fair for the community has been hailed a success by organisers.
Harwich RNLI’s fundraising team held its Christmas fayre on Saturday, November 16.
The event was held at the Park Pavilion, in Harwich, between 10.30am and 3pm.
For the annual event there was an exciting variety of stalls for guests to browse around, and there was also an appearance from Father Christmas.
Gillie Johnson, Harwich RNLI’s fundraising chairman, said the event was a great success with lots of hard work and plenty of visitors attending throughout the day.
She said: “A big thank you to all our helpers and supporters, stall holders and the ukulele band for making our annual Christmas event so special.
“We really appreciate your support.”
The money raised from the event will go to Harwich RNLI.
