SOUTHEND United manager Sol Campbell feels the coronavirus pandemic could have been a ‘designed mistake’.

According to the Office for National Statistics, black men and women are four more times likely to die from coronavirus than white people.

And Campbell, who has been in charge of the Shrimpers since October, has addressed the issue on Twitter.

The former England international said: “Was this virus a natural mistake or a designed mistake? I wonder does this virus deliberately attack a certain blood type?"
