A MACMILLAN volunteer who collects donations is urging people in Ellesmere to help out.
Irene Rennie, who lives in nearby Baschurch, collects for the cancer charity and is happy to head to peoples' homes to keep the donations coming.
"I usually say that we take everything and anything except large furniture," said Irene.
"We would take the odd chair or small table but not a bed or a wardrobe.
"That's been my mantra for the last few months.
"I can collect their goods and donations if people want to give them, and they can leave them outside on their drives as a I give them a time I am going to collect.
"People can get in touch via Facebook as everything I do for Macmillan is up there – all the events and the money I raise.
"And I want to thank all those that have helped or will help us."
