HARWICH’S outstanding effort in battling the fight against Covid-19 continued with donations made to volunteers
Charities have been supporting the vaccination centre since its opening to help both volunteers and patients alike.
Harwich Rotary club donated refreshments to the Fryatt Hospital for vaccination staff and volunteers.
Chairman of the club Andy Fern visited the hospital with Sue Teatheredge, a member and volunteer, to deliver the refreshments.

A spokesman from the club said: “The Rotary club are pleased to be able to help when and where we can.
"It’s really nice to know the money we raise goes directly back into the community where it is most needed.
“As a club, we are grateful for our volunteers particularly throughout these difficult times.”
Each day, 25 volunteers are required at the hospital to assist the NHS staff in making the vaccination process smooth.
Shifts are just under four hours long and run from 8.30am until 9pm.
