Ha'Penny pier
LEISURE vessels will be permitted to moor overnight at Harwich’s Ha’penny Pier from next week.
Following the Government’s Covid-19 roadmap these boats will be allowed to stay overnight on the pontoons from Monday.
The vessels must only have members from one household onboard.
Harwich Haven Authority have said no fees will be charged until further notice.
The toilet and shower facilities will remain closed, while the pontoons will be manned by the Pier Masters.
Overseas visitors should receive notification to disembark their vessel from Border Force Central.
