POLICE officers visited Harwich to discuss how best to tackle anti-social behaviour on the water.
Essex Police’s Marine Unit paid a visit to Ha'penny Pier during its trip.
Officers caught up with the Pier Master to talk through recent issues and about the police scheme Operation Wavebreaker – which bids to help prevent these anti-social incidents.
In a statement, Essex Police said: “By tackling anti-social behaviour on our coast through engagement, education and enforcement, the unit is making the water safer for the marine community.”
