RESIDENTS will be offered the chance to raise concerns about crime in Tendring during a series of meet and greet walks.

Essex Police district commander chief inspector Lily Benbow will be walking around various locations in the district to meet residents.

She will be joined by officers from the community policing team, as well as town councillors.

She will visit Harwich and Manningtree between 1pm and 4pm on Thursday, July 8.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: “If you see Lily and her team please come over and say hello. If you have any questions about crime in the area you wish to make us aware of, or any issues affecting the community, please feel free to speak with us.”

Mrs Benbow will also be joined by special inspector Jason Wintin who is part of the special constabulary.

Details of the walk will be advertised on the ‘Events Tab’ on Essex Police – Tendring District’s Facebook page.
