A DRUG dealer who branded himself as “Colombian Mitch” is now behind bars.
Bryan Godoy-Lojan was offering crack cocaine and heroin to users in Brighton.
The 24-year-old was linked by detectives to selling the class A drugs in the city from July 2019 to January 2020.
A probe into his phones showed how he was arranging deals.
Searches then found crack cocaine and heroin at addresses in Brighton, as well as several hundred pounds in cash.
Godoy-Lojan appeared before Hove Crown Court where he admitted being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
He was jailed for three years for the crimes.
Detective Constable Mark Pinder said: "Drug dealing will absolutely not be tolerated in Brighton and Hove and every day our officers are out in uniform and plain clothes working to keep this city safe.
"We're pleased the court has recognised the impact of the defendant's actions on the local community by serving him with a significant custodial sentence.
“The investigation is a continued effort by Sussex Police to robustly target and dismantle County Lines that are adversely affecting our communities.
"Anyone with information about drug dealing is urged to report it to us online or by calling 101, so we can take action."
Godoy-Lojan, of Avondale Square, Southwark, is now starting his prison sentence after the court hearing earlier this month.
