Braintree Road, Cressing was closed for most of the day
A woman who was rushed to hospital after a serious collision is still in a "critical condition".
Police attended the scene of the incident on Braintree Road, Cressing shortly after 9:30am on June 9.
The road was closed for most of the day in both directions outside the Jet petrol station close to the junction with Jeffrey's Road.
A cyclist, in her 80s, was taken to hospital with head injuries.
Essex police confirmed "she is still in a critical but stable condition.”
