A LINE-UP of experts will be holding a free online event to raise awareness of climate change.

The talk, which is organised by Essex Climate, is taking place at 7pm tomorrow, when renowned panellists will be giving their starkest warnings on climate emergency.

Harwich MP Bernard Jenkin will also be making an appearance, showing a film about the desecration of the planet and explaining the government’s climate change polices.

He has also called for "a paradigm shift in our thinking at all levels", saying he feels “the need to embrace profound change in my own outlook and priorities".

Olivia Okongwu, Year 8, from Harwich and Dovercourt High School, will also be taking part in the talk to suggest how young people can make a difference.

The Zoom webinar will also feature discussions with professors Mike Davies and Richard Dawson, who are members of United Nations' Climate Change Committee.

The will both be talking about the importance of climate proofing your house as well as power supply.

Residents will also be given advice on how to maintain biodiversity and sustainable farming and hold governments and business to account.
