A SCHOOL is preparing to host a dazzling display which is set to astound and amaze families, students and residents alike.
The Mayflower Primary School has organised a fireworks extravaganza for next month to mark Guy Fawkes celebrations.
The exploding exhibition, taking place at the educational complex, in Dovercourt, Harwich, will see the sky painted with eye-catching bursts of light and colour.
Mesmerising glow ticks, face painting, tombolas, popcorn, and candy floss will also be on offer, in addition to jacket potatoes, a barbecue, and hand-warming drinks.
A spokeswoman for the event said: “Our amazing display is back.
“Save the date and don't miss out on the best firework display in Dovercourt.
“A fabulous event to bring the community back together after the pandemic.
“We will be raising money for the school and having fun at the same time.”
The fireworks display will be held on November 4 and is expected to start at about 7pm, with doors opening at 5.30pm.
Tickets will cost £4 but children under the age of five-years-old will be permitted entry completely free of charge.
