Dozens of people lined the streets as stage 5 of the Women's Tour got underway.
The world-renowned event is in Colchester and Tendring today.
Riders set off from Colchester’s Northern Gateway Sports Park and rode through the historic town centre.
They are set to pedal out of the borough to Ardleigh and Great Bromley.
They will then ride on to Clacton, via Elmstead Market, before completing a loop of Tendring district.
It will finish on Marine Parade West at 2.20pm.
To enable the race to happen safely a rolling road closure will be in place along the majority of the route – meaning streets will be open either side of the event as riders head to the finish line.

- Holland-on-Sea 12:47pm
- Mistley 1:27pm
- Manningtree 1:32pm
- Tenpenny Hill 1:59pm
