A 19-YEAR-OLD has been banned from getting behind the wheel for a year after driving while over the legal alcohol limit.
Michael Legood, of Stour View Avenue, Mistley, was caught driving a Vauxhall Astra on Harwich Road, Wrabness with 125 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.
Mr Legood was found to be over the alcohol limit for drivers - 80 milligrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood – on April 19.
He was ordered to pay £525 in a fine, costs and surcharge and will remain disqualified from driving for 12 months.
