A Harwich man has been charged with one count of beating by causing actual bodily harm
A HARWICH thug has been fined hundreds of pounds after admitting beating up a man.
Dean McDermott, 36, of Holyrood, Harwich appeared at Colchester's Magistrates' Court charged with one count of beating by causing actual bodily harm.
McDermott had admitted to the offence, which took place in Harwich last August.
He was fined £100 and ordered to pay costs of £145.
He must also pay a £95 victim surcharge and carry out unpaid work for 100 hours within the next twelve months
