A FAMILY’S beloved puppy that was stolen and then returned this week made a special visit to Southend’s Police Station.
American XL Bully dog Queenie went down to the station with owner Chloe today (Thursday, November 25) to thank the officers who helped find her.
Queenie was stolen by masked burglars from her home in Aylesbeare, Shoebury on Monday.
A woman was arrested by police in the days after and Queenie has since been found and returned to her delighted owners.

In an update on the investigation, police said the woman who had been arrested has been released on bail until next month.
A police spokesman added: “Our investigation doesn’t stop there, and we are continuing to pursue a number of lines of enquiry to identify those responsible for the burglary.
“We know the theft of a dog is so much more than that.
“Pets are part of the family and we will always do all we can to help reunite them.”
