A TEENAGE boy was assaulted on a basketball court by a man.
Essex Police are appealing for help from the public following the attack in Burnham-on-Crouch.
Police were called to the Dengie Hundred Sports Club at about 9pm on Sunday, July 24.
A boy, aged 15, was on the basketball court when he was approached by a man and assaulted.
He was taken to hospital with cuts and bruises, which required treatment.
The suspect has been described as a white man, around 21 years old and of a skinny build.
He had short, black sweeping hair and was wearing a West Ham football shirt and blue jeans.
Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed this assault or has any further information to contact them.
