A MUSEUM'S special craft and coffee morning has been postponed.
Harwich Museum's event was set to take place on Friday, December 2.
Despite the cancellation, the tea room will still be open for attendees to use.
A spokeswoman for Harwich Museum said: “Unfortunately, due to circumstances out of our control we are having to postpone this coffee morning."
The popular museum will be closing its doors for the year this week.
The spokeswoman added: “Come in and grab your early bird annual ticket and stay for a Gingerbread latte in the Lighthouse tea room and why not do a bit of Christmas shopping while you're here and support small businesses.”
Rounding off this year's events will be the museum’s Christmas fair taking place in Kingsway Hall.
Santa will be in attendance along with Mrs Claus for families to enjoy.
The spokeswoman said: “You can book children in by emailing groupbookings@harwichmuseum.co.uk and we can allocate you a time slot.
“It's £3.50 and every child receives a gift. Lots of wonderful stall holders selling the perfect gifts, sweets, cakes, raffle, tombola and more.”
The Christmas fair will take place on Saturday, December 10, from 10am to 3pm.
