A SET of festivals encouraging women to be active will return following a two-year absence.
The Women Like Us festivals run by Active Essex’s This Girl Can initiative will see women from across the county get together and have fun with different activities.
The last event was a success in 2021 despite being a virtual offering and the organisers are excited for its return.
A spokeswoman for the event said: “Across the week of International women’s Day, our This Girl Can Essex ambassadors will be hosting a range of free open sessions across the county.
“Each session will be delivered in a non-judgemental, fun and friendly environment, empowering women of all ages and abilities to move their way.”
The sessions will take place between March 6 and 23 in Colchester, Dovercourt, West Mersea and Coggeshall.
