TWO trains were cancelled on the Mayflower Line due to two “disruptive” passengers.

Train operator Greater Anglia said the 9.01pm service from Manningtree to Harwich was cancelled on Tuesday evening due to the passengers.

The 9.28pm train from Harwich Town to Manningtree was also axed because of the issue.

A spokesperson for the firm said: “We apologise to customers who were affected by the cancellation of our 21.01 Manningtree to Harwich Town and 21.28 Harwich Town to Manningtree services last night. This was due to two disruptive passengers.

“Unfortunately, two services were cancelled and customers were advised to travel on the next available services.

"We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused.
