A POWER cut in Brantham has caused disruption for residents for several hours on Wednesday morning.
According to UK Power Networks, which is the electricity provider which covers east and south east England, the CO11 postcode has been affected by a fault on electrical equipment.
The fault, which has been traced to a substation near Kiln Lane, was discovered at about 6.32am.
Areas where houses may have experienced power cuts include Mistley, Manningtree, Cattawade, and Brantham.
UK Power Networks has estimated power will return between 10am and 11am later this morning.
