A “REPEAT offender” has been banned from driving after getting behind the wheel while uninsured.
Danny Higgins, 28, drove a Ford Transit in Old Ipswich Road, Ardleigh, on Halloween last year when he was caught out.
He was driving without insurance at the time, Colchester Magistrates’ Court heard.
The offence was proved via the single justice procedure.
Higgins, of Norman Way, Colchester, was banned from driving for six months by magistrates.
He must pay £1,014 in a fine, surcharge and costs.
