Set to reopen to the public on Tuesday, the Italian restaurant now has a lantern roof and spacious dining area.

The business says this year has been a tough one after multiple planning refusals from the district council.

The owners are excited about the reopening after lots of hard work.

Managers Emily, Enzo and Gio said: “We are really excited about the launch of the new dining room. We have extended it and have a brand-new lantern roof that creates a really spacious space with high ceilings.

“This refurb is giving us the chance to accommodate extra seating indoors, as we were really restricted by having a really small dining room, and still not being able to make use of the outdoors.

“The past year has been really challenging for us.

"Unfortunately the numerous objections received have not helped the business. We are really hoping 2024 will be a better year and that we will get more support from our town and council.”
