Children are getting back to nature at a pre-school thanks to a new rustic play area.
Little Pumpkins Pre-School, in Lawford Primary School, Long Road, Lawford, spent more than £1,600 creating seats, a sensory area and a planting patch for the 81 children on its books.
The money was left over from Lawford Pre-School, which was bought by Little Pumpkins in 2010.
The new garden was unveiled on Monday and director Tracy Starling said: “The children absolutely love it, they have even been out in the rain playing in it.
“Our aim is to get the children back to nature, and this will certainly help.”
