A father from Harwich saddled up for a 75-mile bike ride to raise cash for Cancer Research UK.
Geoff Pearson, who works at Tesco in Thorpe le Soken, got on his bike recently to cycle from Suffolk to Essex, visiting 13 Tesco Express stores en route.
He was accompanied on different legs of the journey by nine colleagues and after visiting stores in Manningtree, Colchester and Clacton, completed his charity ride at Tesco’s Thorpe le Soken store.
Mr Pearson, who has a ten-month old baby, has been working for Tesco for 15 years and hopes to raise an impressive £3,000 in sponsorship for the ride.
