A FORMER pet shop in Clacton town centre could be converted into a nail bar.

Hoang Dao, from Carnarvon Road, has applied for permission for change of use for the shop in High Street.

It had been used as a pet shop for a number of years, but has been vacant since 2018.

A decision is expected to be made by Tendring Council in January.
