A HISTORIC ship is hoped to take up its new home this spring.
The last manned lightship, the LV18, was hoped to be in place at Harwich Quay this month.
But work is still needed on the ship, which featured hit film The Boat That Rocked in 2009, before it can finally be moored.
Colin Crawford, chairman of the Pharos Trust, which owns the LV18, said: “We are looking at sometime in March as we have some works to do."
The LV18, was given the official go-ahead to moor at Harwich Quay last year.
